Each session is carefully tailored to the individual student, and social-emotional skills are interwoven through every session to support critical thinking, frustration tolerance, self-regulation, and self-esteem. I prioritize short, engaging, and adaptable activities that feel simple to the student and target multiple skills at once. Students reliably have accelerated progress and increased confidence within the first six sessions.

After testing multiple literacy approaches with a diverse range of learners, I consistently found a speech-to-print approach to be the most efficient and least stressful approach for most learners. The speech-to-print approach is highly effective for a diverse range of learners due to its flexible pacing, reduced cognitive load, and integrated skill development.

I incorporate aspects from a variety of other curricula and methodologies to provide each student with a deep and well-rounded understanding and skillset. These include Reading Simplified, EBLI, Logic of English, Orton-Gillingham, Structured Word Inquiry, inquiry-based and project-based learning, Montessori, and Waldorf. ​​
